Visitors today!

The great-grandparents came to visit today.....we took a stroll over to the "Seabee Days" carnival that was being held on base and walked around! Then we bbq'd dinner! Thanks for the visit!

On the move....table in sight!

She loves trying to get her hands onto the bottom shelf of this table! Of course I've already removed the things that used to be on the shelf, but she finds it amusing nonetheless!

Well, and sometimes we get stuck going backwards under the table....mommy to the rescue! But just this evening she started making serious movements forward one knee at a time....I think my moments of rest are over!

Trying to Crawl....almost there

Here are some great crawl-attempts she's been making in the last few days! Its so amazing to watch her little brain work, and correspond with her little chubby thighs to get her body to go, go, go!! (I had to throw in the cute naked one!!)

Watching Sesame Street together....Roxy loves to be near her all the time now....although I am sure that will be short lived since Abby is close to being mobile, and Roxy's tail is always in reach...or a short scoot!! But she behaves like a pro! Letting Abby get away with anything so far!

She just really hates when Abby spits on her, which just happens to be her thing to do these days....Sorry Roxy!

Lindsey's Farewell

Sadly, but excitedly, my good college friend Lindsey is moving to Australia this week! So all her close friends gathered for a farewell party! Bye Linds........we'll miss you!!! See you back here in 2010!!

We had a wonderful visit to Fairfield yesterday, lounging for a few hours at Grandma Smith's for lunch and a nap!

Abby had her first experience in a pool this week! So far we went three times, and she's loved it! Next week are her "tadpole" swim lessons.....we should learn some fun things.

Auntie Sarah came along today to take photos for us. Abby loves to splash herself! She particularly loves to suck on the string from her hat.....go figure!

Bath Time

Well it was bath night...and boy was she a dirty girl! So much playing all weekend with the family visiting! So we scrubbed her up, amidst all her splashing, and wrapped her up in her cute robe! Rubbing the eyes was a cute bonus since it was also nearing bedtime!

We met at Bonnie's house (Mike's sister) to celebrate the Smith birthdays for June. We had a blast, and Abby got to visit her cousins!

Driving to Cool-June

This was our maiden voyage in our new mini-van up north.....and of course it was just me, Abby and Roxy (daddy was at "work"). Roxy entertained Abby for a good portion of the trip as she sat behind Abby's seat facing her, so she giggled off and on as Roxy made noises. They were both very well behaved for the 7.5 hr drive!
