Final Sarah moments in Virginia!

Sarah left today :( But we had a fun week with her! Back to a normal non-kid life for her!

 Maddy LOVES the cookies Sarah and Abby made!

 We made latkes!! And boy were they good! Brad was the official latke shaper and I fried them up!

Every good thing must come to and end.....and Maddy loves the end of the day where she gets to snuggle. Mike got her last night. When she is done, she's done! And she will cuddle up on anyone!

Fall Family!

With Fall in full swing out here, I decided to take advantage of the pile of leaves Mike created and let the kids frolic in the leaves before they are gone and the cold is too much to be outside! Abby knew just what to do!

Abby's 2 new best friends!! Oh yeah, and it worked out that Sarah's boyfriend Brad (from high school, who is a Marine stationed in North Carolina) was able to drive up here over his Thanksgiving break! Abby loves playing hide/seek with both of them!

 Thanksgiving DAY!!!! Dessert! I missed shots of our friends for Turkey day at the house, but got the camera out just in time for the kids to indulge in some pie with dad!

Abby made her hat at school this past week, and Sarah brought Abby the hat she is wearing!

Sarah PART 1!

She's HERE!!!! Auntie Sarah got here late Saturday night. After an ordeal with her luggage being misplaced (she got it the next day....) she got here, and Abby hasn't given her a moment of peace since! They are joined at the hip and Abby is going to be sad to see her go!! Here are some of our times together so far! She leaves Sunday!

 A pastime from holidays with Grandma Fran and Brenda, making cookies! Sarah helped Abby make and bake her first ever sugar cookies!!

I found her on the floor chewing on EVERY toy in the shoe bin. Normally she just pulls them out to make a mess for me to clean up, but today she decided they all taste delicious! She chewed on each shoe you see out! By the way, her top two teeth are FINALLY coming in!! 

Fireside!!

Now that the weather is definitely Fall, Mike bought a half a cord of wood and we have been making fires almost nightly! It is such a nice winter touch!! And Abby really loves it. She especially loves being Daddy's little fire helper (.....sounds like her mother as a child....go figure!).

Oh no.......Someone is taking after her big sister! She LOVES trying to put the princess crowns on now. She held it to her head like this to keep it on. She gets frustrated when it falls off! So it begins! Abby will love having a dress-up partner.

 I helped her and put it on correctly.

 She LOVES to push the strollers and shopping cart too! She walks really well with them. Now she needs to ditch the crutch and get moving on her own! She's close! But lazy :)

Grandma Donna's visit!

Grandma Donna came to visit this past weekend and we had a lot of fun. 

She helped out with a lot of Grandma-sitting, and made my life EASY!!!! Thanks Grandma!!!
