More pool time!

Today's playgroup gathering was at the Point Mugu kiddie pool and we had a blast! We brought our chicken nuggets to eat for lunch, which she loved!! And then we swam with the big kids! This pool is shallow around the outer edge, then gets a little deeper towards the center! But it was 85 degrees in the water, very nice!

Pool time!

Okay, so it hasn't quite hit "hot" around here, so we've had to go swimming anyways! This was a slightly warmer day (maybe 75 or so), and the sun was out!

My friend Eleanor and her son Tyler came to the pool with us this day! This pool has a fun mushroom in the center that sprinkles water down into the pool! The kids didn't quite know what to think about it.

Dog bed- Not just for dogs anymore

Roxy is learning, as I am, that Abby is now taking over the house! She crawled right over and decided to play in the dog bed....oh well, Roxy figures she still has the couch until Abby's big enough to climb!

Abby loves her new table toy that my friend Amy brought over now that her kids have outgrown it! It was the first thing she learned to pull herself up on!


This girl loves the shoes!! Who knew they tasted so good!!

We've progressed from just crawling, and now she can pull up onto just about everything to a standing position. She learned that in just a day! So now my couch isn't a safe-haven from the floor anymore! Its all her territory!! And the 2nd shelves on the bookcases are now empty because of her new discovery!

Visit with Brenda & Sheila

Brenda and Sheila came to visit the week before last, and Abby had a great time playing with them! Sheila even got to feed her some yogurt!

1st Carousel Ride!!

Arlene & Alan came to visit today, so we went down to the Ventura Harbour and had lunch at a nice seafood place! Abby got to enjoy some food too! Then we walked around and found a carousel to ride on, so she got her first "horsey" carousel ride! It went up & down too! She loved it, flailing her arms as usual in excitement.

Here's the family photo!! We spent this day at Uncle Kenney's pool for nearly 2 hours and Abby was in the water the whole time! Everyone took turns pushing her around in her floaty!

More climbing at the airport....

We were on our way to Arizona and Abby just had to try climbing at LAX. She loved to stand there (with mommy close by to catch her) and watch the "little" cars run around outside!

We visited with Will & Tracey last week, and she is all about climbing on everything these days! So of course she headed right for their entertainment unit! She's really good at getting to her knees, and sometimes her feet!

Well, Grandma Donna bought Abby a pool for the backyard and it was a hit (once I got the monster blown up of course!!!). I put some warm water in it (since it hasn't peaked past 75 degrees here yet this summer) and she was in water heaven! She loved being able to crawl in it and chase after floaty toys. Roxy was jealous.....even though she hates baths! Abby got a kick out of her licking her the whole time.

Eating yummy treats out of her bowl! She's all about picking things up with those little fingers these days. And now she's realized that if she holds the bowl, all the treats come falling towards her mouth.....and then on the floor for Roxy to eat!
