Cinderella wannabe

Abby is a true Disney Princess fan!

And she walked around the house quite proud in her Cinderella "glass" dress-up slipper shoes the other day. Luckily she doesn't fight me to wear them out of the house......yet. So far I have her convinced that they are just for playtime, but I'm sure I'll hit a wall with that reasoning too one day soon. Oh yeah, and they are sooo styling with her leopard pants!!

Visit with Aunt Amy & Grandpa Ron

Well, Aunt Amy left today and Grandpa Ron leaves tomorrow.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving here in VA, with nice Fall weather.

Abby has had a lot of fun being entertained by her company!

Monkey'n around!

We were off to the "Jumpin' Monkey" to play this morning.

Off course Abby had fun, and this was daddy's first visit, so he had fun too!

Of course Maddy slept through the whole hour of playing! Good girl!

Illumination Parade-Norfolk

We bundled up and took the girls to the Norfolk Annual Illumination parade last night.

Abby LOVED it, and got a kick out of sitting on daddy's shoulders and watching the floats and marching bands go by. She pointed out EVERYTHING!!! She's very observant these days!

Maddy slept the whole time on my chest in my wrap all bundled up.

This is what happens when you fall asleep! Your big sister comes over and dumps all of her princesses onto your bed.

Fun for Big Sister

Trying to remind Abby that she is still the star in our life....she gets her playtime too!

Daddy got down on her level the other night and played an endless game of doll house madness, shoving "mom" and "dad" thru windows and over walls! They had a blast.....

But then this is what happens when Abby makes you play too hard.......

Then Abby & daddy shared a cereal moment where she enjoyed feeding him pieces of her cheerios. They love being goofy together!

Grandma's Girls

We were super lucky to have Grandma Donna come out and stay with us for 2 weeks while we were in the hospital with Maddy, and to help out once we arrived home with a newborn.

Abby loved her 3 days at home with Grandma Donna and their activities while we were in the hospital, and never even asked for us....I keep telling myself she at least thought of me!

We had a wonderful visit that seemed to fly by, and enjoyed a lot of time relaxing at home together with the two girls. Here are some of the photo memories.....even the goofy ones of Abby not wanting to obey the "smile" commands!!

There are so many similarities between she and Maddy, its fun to see, and makes us feel like we are starting all over again; which we are, but this time we have a fun toddler to enjoy along the way!
