Oh the faces!!!
Maddy may be Miss Personality these days, but Abby has so much on her mind these days.....it is coming out of her in the form of faces, voices and CONSTANT talking.
We try to keep the craziness to a minimum, but the other night at dinner I indulged her with some faces!!
Oh did I forget to mention she pulled out her 8th tooth in our hotel in Washington last weekend??!!
She has a lot of holes in her cute smile now!!

Adios Minivan!!!
After leaving DC we headed south to visit our friends in Maryland! We sold our minivan to them!!
They have adorable twin 2 year old boys who will make good use of this family-mobile!!!
They just returned from Japan....and we got lots of good information from them on what to do while we are there.
Washington DC
Our DC Trip this past weekend!!! And MORE!
Visiting Old Abe
Excited as we were about to walk to the White House
At the White House front gate!!
We rode the metro to and from the museums one day!
Fun at the Air and Space Museum--lots of hands on learning about flight, lift, etc
Saw an IMAX movie about D-Day in 3D at the Air and Space Museum narrated by Tom Brokaw, we really enjoyed it.
Landing on the moon!!
The Capitol Building (under some construction)
Had to make another visit to the Natural History Museum--Abby was giving me her best "Sapien" smile
Bedtime Giggles
This girls giggle (obnoxious cackling....) more often than not when it comes to bedtime.
So sometimes we have to resort to separating them....and then returning Abby to her own bed once they are both asleep. Otherwise they will giggle for HOURS!!! After playing together all day!!!! Not sure how they still find one another entertaining 😂
Trying new things
We went out for sushi last week and Maddy blew us all away!!
She asked to eat this "green leaf" out of Mikes sashimi dish
Then she voluntarily ate a chunk of broccoli
Then she asked to try an edamame
And she ate a pile of Gyoza dumplings with green bits in them!!!!
YES that's a LOT of green stuff for this picky 5 year old. Overcoming some hurdles. YAY!!!!
She was proud of herself and we were equally proud of her. We've given up forcing it on her so apparently she decided to take it upon herself to go outside her box (her Big Sis is beyond a good example!!! Well for eating at least 😉)

Girls and their dolls.....
The girls still love their dolls!! Really the only toy they brought with us on this part of the journey.
They have been clothed and brushed today and propped up. Rarely happens :)
