Our first Friendsgiving in Japan! I'm thankful that although far from box stores sales and fully stocked grocery stores (taken for granted).....I am thankful to be surrounded by an air wing of women from each walk of aviation and Navy life who make my days and weeks easier here, sometimes with just a smile/wave as we pass one another on base.
Also thankful that Mike will be home soon to fill the void that's been missing in our hearts and home--6 months in Japan and he's been home for 2 weeks so far--cheers to expanding his Japanese horizons in the months to come! Thinking of all the military families separated by service this holiday season
And of course missing our family and friends back home who will celebrate tomorrow!! Cheers!!!
