Our "Jamba" girl!

I grabbed a Jamba Juice while we were out today, and figured Abby would think it was too sour/cold, but she LOVED it! So we ended up sharing sips! I think she drank more though.

Sooooo tall!!

Guess its time to get some stove knob covers.....little miss curious is getting big and tall to reach EVERYTHING!! She is normally not allowed in the kitchen, but we were running out the door, so this was the first time she's pulled up on the stove......she probably thought the stove handle was made just for her!

Abby finally realized that in order to crawl/climb with toys from one place to another, you must carry them in your mouth!! Who knows, maybe she learned from Roxy!!

Best of Friends

Abby loves being outside these days, watching Roxy run around like a crazy dog....which she is! But they love each other. Roxy is constantly running over to Abby with toys as if she can play with her, but she does try, but Roxy always wins tug-of-war!! Abby just giggles at Roxy.

Half Way Party Picnic

We had a very successful picnic today at Point Mugu! We had a bouncy house, a face painter and a balloon animal maker there to entertain the kids! Abby had a great time in the bouncy house while the big kids were having lunch! Here she is with Micah, one of my girlfriends sons.

Behind Bars!!!

So my living room/dining room are now gated securely, and Abby loves to crawl over and pull up to standing on the gates. Now she's even learned that the locking mechanism "gives" a little rattle when you shake them, so she stands up and shakes back and forth. Licking them isn't half bad either apparently....So this is her watching me get dinner ready in the kitchen while she is locked behind bars!

Spagetti Fun

Okay, so I finally broke down and let the kid be messy! She's at the stage where she seems to want flavor in her food (go figure!!). I offered her the same pasta/veggie/turkey-dog dish yesterday with no sauce, and she rejected it, and ate some of the turkey dog. Then today I offered her the same thing but coated in tomato sauce, and she devoured it all!! It was fun to watch!

Ventura Fair Day

Today was military appreciation day at the fair, so we got in free!! We walked around for about 3 hours looking through the display tents, the animals, and food of course!

Abby's favorite part of the day was the shuttle ride to/from the fair on the school bus (also free!!); She loved holding onto the seat in front of her with the wind blowing in her face like it was a ride! Figures the kid would like the free non-entertainment portion of the day most. We went with Britany Ek and her friend Natalie.

Swinging in Action

Okay, so don't laugh at me, because now matter how many times Mike corrects me, I still forget that you can't turn the camera sideways when taking a video!!! Who knew, right?? Silly me. Anyways, tilt your head to the left and you can enjoy watching Abby swing!

We've discovered the park swings, and they are a hit! She loves holding on while I push her! She's a very brave little girl! She just kicks her feet and smiles......I couldn't ask for more rewarding fun!

Zebra fun!!

I got this cute bouncy zebra toy from a friend as a hand-me-down! Its great! She can't get on/off by herself yet, but she crawls up to it and pulls up to her feet, then I set her on the seat and she holds on while watching Sesame Street! Then she likes when I bounce it up and down for her since she can just touch her tippy toes to the base! It makes noise (zebra noises!) and lights up too~very interactive!
