Summer Vacation- Disney Day 5....LAST DAY

There were a few things we didn't do on our last Disney trip that we made sure to do this go 'round!
One was riding the Disneyland Train around the park.
Our last day was great, and filled with lots of rides and FUN!
Definitely a vacation to remember with LOTS of memories!!
We made reservations (months before) at the Big Thunder Ranch BBQ restaurant for dinner our last night! It's a family style BBQ place, with all outdoor seating.
BBQ Ribs, chicken, sausage, coleslaw, cornbread, corn and beans GALORE!
One last "Small World" ride for the trip at night! And caught the clock show!!
Au revoir Disney!!! It was another great experience.
I ended it buying this INCREDIBLE candy apple at a confections store in Downtown Disney!
Mmmmmmmm

Summer Vacation- Disney Day 4

Day 4 was another California Adventure early morning!
Mike and Abby waited for the Cars racer ride, but since its not Maddy's favorite I headed to the Toy Story 3D ride with her!!
Waiting in line for the FANTASTIC Aladdin stage show!!
A must see if you go to CA Adventure!! Well worth the wait in line.
Mike and Abby's favorite CA Adventure ride-- Cars Racers!!
Abby is in the front row with us, hands UP!!!!
Day #4 got the best of Maddy. Too many early mornings and late nights.
She passed out at the pool under a towel!! Took a great nap and woke up happy!!
That night cousin Ryane watched all the kids in our hotel room while the adults went out for some late night fun!! We hit up CA Adventure first for a concert and then Disneyland before heading back to the hotel! So much fun to experience the kid-less side of Disney.
Riding the Matterhorn together!

Summer Vacation- Disney Day 3

Day 3 was a early Disney morning. So we got in the park at 7am sharp!! (regular folk get in with normal 8am park hours, but Disney hotel guests get in an hour early!!) Huge perk.
We went straight to Fantasyland to ride Maddy's favorite--the Carousel!!
This photo says it all!!! Maddy LOVED this trip in such a different way this time around.
6 months ago when we went she was skeptical, and this time she enjoyed just about every minute (that she was awake!!!).
We made it to Tom Sawyers island to explore.
On Day 3, Mike's brother Kyle and family joined us for the remainder of our trip!
Cousins: Ryane, Stefan, Ethne, Abby and Maddy
We relaxed at the hotel pool every afternoon!! And they entertained the kids with fun poolside games for an hour or so too!
The girls ADORE their cousins!!

Summer Vacation- Disney Day 2

Our first and second mornings at the parks were early days for California Adventure! Of course we park hopped a bit those days. But in the mornings we took full advantage of CA Adventure and no lines on most rides!!
This trip we did things much more relaxed. We did the parks from 6:30am (in line to get in) til noon, and went back to the room each day to swim and relax. Then back out for dinner and more park time each night! It was the perfect combination!!
The girls on Day 2, re-wearing their princess hair that they slept in!
Our hotel pool and slides!! Maddy loved laying in the low level water, and Abby LOVED the monorail water slides!!
Unplanned this trip, we caught a TON of new characters, shows and parades on the fly!
This street performance was fun and the girls got to join in on the dancing!
Maddys ALL-TIME favorite ride this trip! CA Adventure's kiddie Bug's Life area.......the "Heimlich the Caterpillar" ride. She loves it because you tram through his favorite foods and you actually get to smell them as you pass by the animal crackers and watermelon! Then he burps.....her FAVORITE part!!! She's been imitating this for a week since we've been home!!
We caught the CA Adventure parade!
And we caught the Disneyland parade! Mary Poppins!!!
And that was all just DAY 2!!!
