Princess Party

One of Abby's best friends "Emily" had her 3rd birthday party and you had to arrive dressed in your own princess style! So Abby wore her Cinderella dress!!! She was so excited to go dressed up! First time the dress left the house.....and it came back in one piece!

Here are some memories from the fun afternoon.

Emily's mom/dad dressed up too (Cinderella & Prince Charming of course), and they had "Princess Belle" arrive to greet and read a story to the girls. They were all impressed!!

Aside from being cute!!! OF COURSE!!! It reminds me a LOT of Abby these days, so I'm guessing I was somewhere between 2 and 3 years old??? Genetics are a kick!

B.O.B has entered my life.....

Here are some quick shots I got of my new double jogging stroller!
I really needed something to get me active & out of the house with the girls, and the weather is only going to improve going forward!
It is called a "BOB" and has many great features that I love!!
I got the girls in it tonight to get their harness straps tightened and ready for our maiden voyage......as soon as it stops raining!!

Abby was so excited, and when I reclined her seat (big bonus....separate sun shades and separate reclining seats) she told me "night night mommy". SO CUTE!

Looking at them side by side it really makes Abby look big.....or Maddy small....either way.

Maddy has been enjoying laying on her playmat lately! With the toys within reach she is intrigued when she hits them and they move!! So cute to watch her learn.

Sarah Time

Well, Sarah's visit comes to a sad end tomorrow. I can't believe the week went by this fast!!

But we have been BUSY for sure! It was our first week into our "busy" routine that I setup for Abby and I.....so far so good!

Monday we went to playgroup with my Navy friends

Tuesday we went to the Aquarium

Wednesday Abby had her 2nd day of preschool....went GREAT!! Sarah and I went to the mall and enjoyed a non-toddler shopping/lunch experience together!

And today we went to Library Storytime and the Zoo!!

First Day of Preschool

This is Abby on her first day of preschool!

I enrolled her in 1 half day a week for now, and then in the Fall she will go 2 or 3 days a week and be in a 2's/3's class. For now because her birthday falls after Sept, she is in the toddler class.

She went right in today asking to play, and never looked back to even say goodbye!

I'm not sure if everytime will be this easy, I expect some "bumps", but eventually I know she will enjoy it! For now, it is great time for me to run errands, make appointments, and just get some quiet time at home.....maybe even take a nap.....who knows what could happen without a toddler at home for 4 hrs!

Introducing Princess Abigail

Abby was very lucky this year and got her very own Cinderella dress for xmas from her cousin Ethne! And of course the moment she opened it she wanted it on immediately. Luckily it didn't take too much persuading to get her to take it off for nap time, I was anticipating a battle!!

Here are some random shots we've taken over the last few days!

I just went through and packed up all of Maddy's newborn and 0-3 month sized clothes yesterday. Where did my baby go??? I don't remember it going by this fast last time!??! She is now totally filling out 3 month outfits, and they won't last long either, her feet are at the end of them already. Thank goodness we had a lot of clothes when Abby was a baby!

The Hat!

Aunt Bonnie made and sent Abby this fabulous hat for her birthday! She also sent the rolling tiger backpack and both were an instant hit when she opened them!

The hat though has been a sure favorite and she wears it in the house ALL the time. In fact for the first few days she rarely took it off and insisted upon wearing it at the dinner table for her meals.....strange, but we went along with the enjoyment.
