First Snow

First snow fall of the season! Woke up to this the other day. And today it is snowing again, about 1" so far and still falling! At least Mike is home for it this year!

Girl time!

 These kids love to be together....as well they should! Here are some moments captured together!

 They love when Mike gets home from work! Here they are as they started a fire for the evening.

Madelyn

 Maddy loves anything around her neck....necklaces are abundant around here! Mike hates them!! Oh well, he will soon learn she will always win!

 Maddy now has her top two and bottom two teeth! She eats the same things, and she's cute!

 We call this her "Justin Bieber" look! Especially after the bath, her hair is so soft and fine and just falls into her face. (Bieber is a current teenie bopper pop icon......with a funny hair-do)

 "I can't walk yet......but I love to stand up all by myself!"

 This is SO Maddy. You know she is tired when she starts laying down on things! 

I found her on the floor (below) just like this after I left the room to start laundry. Came back to her all snuggled up. 

 Again with things around her neck. She loves Abby's leopard scarf and puts it on all by herself!

Abigail

 Abby loves playing and pretending these days. She makes me laugh all the time with the new things she comes up with. Can you tell its winter now and we are spending a lot of time indoors!!

Our FIRST ever Gingerbread House

 This year Mike wanted to get Abby a gingerbread house kit! Now we know how much work it really takes to get to the decorating point. But she had so much fun putting the candies on! Now to convince her not to want to eat it after each meal!

There is just something about kids and boxes......never-ending fun. I still haven't put them away!

Hanukah 2010

 We celebrated Hanukkah this year again, and it really showed how much Abby has grown. She enjoys and (I think....) appreciates the holidays now! She was eager to light the candles each night, and got to do so all by herself!

 

Great-Grandma Paulette & Grandpa Bob got her this "Princess Belle" doll! She LOVES brushing her hair into a tangled mess! Sounds like what I have to go through with her some days!

 Happy as a clam with her new DORA Slippers! Thank you Grandma Donna!!

Final Sarah moments in Virginia!

Sarah left today :( But we had a fun week with her! Back to a normal non-kid life for her!

 We made latkes!! And boy were they good! Brad was the official latke shaper and I fried them up!

Every good thing must come to and end.....and Maddy loves the end of the day where she gets to snuggle. Mike got her last night. When she is done, she's done! And she will cuddle up on anyone!
