Our little artist!

Picking Abby up from her first day of school, the teacher said "Wow she is really great at coloring".

I kind of blew it off and was like, yeah, she colors, all the time (thinking it in my head....)

Then when I got home and pulled this out of her backpack, their main craft for today, I understood why!

Her attention to detail on each part of the visor is amazing. Each letter is a different color, no two the same touching! And the colors on the pencil drawing are hilariously unique too! 

 Maybe we have some artistic talent in the works here! 

Proud is an understatement to describe how she was after today. It is a totally different year (each year....)!

Its so fun to see her progress and see her enjoy her days at school. She gets so much out of it, it makes me excited for the real school years to come!

All she talked about on the way home from school were all her friends from last year that she got to talk and play with on the playground (most of them are in the other 3 & 5-day pre-k classes with different teachers), as well as that everyone in class had a great day with no "red" dots (a "green" dot for the day means you did great; and if you get "green" all week you get to choose a toy from the small item grab bag, and if you are green all month you get to choose one from the large item grab bag! Genius!! Maybe I need some of these grab bags at home so she'll be excited to behave here as well.....hmmmmm....
