Mike sent us another package last week! And inside were cute tank tops for the girls from his recent visit to Bahrain. And I got a Pashmina scarf!! He's a good shopper!! The girls were super eager to wear their new shirts!
And to confirm recent events, we have WRITTEN ORDERS now!! So our California dreams are confirmed! Sometimes in the military, until its written on paper (versus a verbal acknowledgement), you never know what could happen/change. But once it is, you are usually rest assured things will go ahead as planned.
Phew.....one less thing to worry about over the next six months!
If you ever want to send Mike a package (holiday themed with fun goodies, trinkets, decor, etc......or a "just because" box) here is the address again: You send it priority mail from the post office, but you MUST have a customs form filled out with it! (also at the post office--don't worry about filling it out like a regular address, city, zip, just use the 3 lines to fill out his info below). I usually have fun scouring the dollar tree stores, and even dried (non-melting) snacks in bulk are good too (jerky, nuts, MIO water flavorings are a favorite of his--Just make sure you zip lock bag anything that has the potential to leak so it doesn't spread throughout the package)! Already sent him a small pkg of Halloween decor, but sometimes its fun for them to liven up the joint instead of looking at grey walls month after month. Our dollar store has some great/gruesome stuff right now!
